Their IT staff told me to use IE6 to properly install the ActiveX control and view the page properly... REALLY?!?! IE6?! Plus an ActiveX control?     Game mods are purely ways of hacking/editing games in order to change things. As with most files on a computer, someone could put a keylogger or something in to them. But most of the time; that is not the case.
    If you download a legit mod and scan it, you have nothing to worry about.
